Holiday Décor & Lighting
The main seasonal catalog and the one most conversations start from: roofline lighting, tree and shrub wraps, garland, wreaths, bows and commercial decor.

by NeedLitesCincinnati and the surrounding suburbs, since 2005. You choose the look. We handle everything from the first measurement to the last strand back in the box.
A professional install does not look like a retail kit, because it is not one. Every strand is cut and clipped to your specific roofline, gables, columns and windows, so the lines are straight and the spacing is even and there are no gaps where a run came up short.
The price is one price and it covers the whole cycle: design, installation, every bulb and clip and timer, service calls during the season, takedown in January, and storage of your display until next year. You are not buying lights and paying someone to hang them. You are buying a lit house for the season.
What is included
We look at the architecture and tell you what will actually read from the street, rather than selling you the same package as the house next door.
LED strands, clips and timers rated for an Ohio winter, not seasonal stock that fails in the first ice storm.
Trained installers on the ladders and the roof. Thousands of people end up in an emergency room every December doing this themselves.
If something goes dark, we come out and fix it. That is part of the price and not a separate call-out charge.
We remove everything in January and store your display through the year, labeled, so next season is a phone call.

Upscale finished greenery in a set of classic and modern themes. The book to look at if you care how the front entry reads from three feet away.
Questions
Earlier than feels necessary. Design and booking start in late summer and the popular November and December dates go first. By the time most people start thinking about it, the choice is not which date you want but which dates are left. Booking early also means more room to customize the design, because there is time to order anything that is not already in the warehouse.
Installation runs from October through December. Installing in October does not mean the lights are on in October. Everything goes in and is left on a timer that you tell us when to start. Getting the physical work done in mild weather is better for the crew and better for the install.
Yes, and both are included in the price rather than charged separately. We remove everything in January and store your display through the year, labeled, so the following season starts with a phone call instead of a fresh design.
Call and we come out and fix it. In-season service is part of what you have paid for, not a call-out charge. This is most of the practical difference between a professional install and doing it yourself: in December a dark section is our problem.
For holiday lighting the display stays ours and is stored between seasons, which is why the price covers the whole cycle and why the materials are commercial grade rather than something priced to be thrown away. Permanent lighting and landscape lighting are the opposite: those are installed systems that belong to the property.
