Two national franchise brands, operated locally. That combination is the whole explanation for why we can get products other companies cannot.
We have been working on properties in Cincinnati since 1995. In 2005 we took on the local Christmas Decor franchise, without much idea of how large that side of the business would become. It is now most of what we are known for.
Christmas Decor is a national network of more than 350 franchises across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Being inside it is not a badge, it is access: to exclusive handmade FDS pieces from Italy, to Barcana's commercial trees and greenery, to the Nite Time Decor landscape and permanent lighting systems, and to warehouses that make oversized and specialty items orderable at all. A local company on its own cannot offer most of this, and that is not a criticism of local companies; it is a matter of buying power.
What has not changed in thirty years is who turns up. The design, the installation, the December service call and the January takedown are all done by people from here, on properties they will drive past again next year.

Design and booking run from late summer; installation runs from October through December, with takedown and storage in January.
by NeedLitesNite Time Decor is the year-round half of the business: landscape, architectural, permanent, bistro and event lighting. Every system is designed on the property, at night, and installed with commercial-grade fixtures and hidden runs.
Designed and installed year-round. Winter is often the best time to see what a lighting plan actually needs, because the planting is not hiding anything.

Free lighting quote
Tell us the property and what you have in mind. Quotes are free for residential, commercial and municipal work, and there is no visit required to get a number for a straightforward roofline.
Design consultation
A designer walks the property and works out what will actually read from the street, or from the drive, or from the terrace. Landscape lighting is designed after dark, because that is the only honest time to judge it.
Professional installation
Insured crews, commercial-grade materials, and strands cut to your rooflines rather than to a packet length. Scheduled around your hours if you are a business.
Service, takedown and storage
In-season service is included, not charged as a call-out. Holiday displays come down in January and are stored labeled for next year. Permanent and landscape systems go onto an affordable maintenance plan.
